A lot of people who rent are afraid they will not qualify to purchase a property. Therefore, they simply do not try out of FEAR! It's that toxic mix of fear and procrastination that keep you from
What do you mean I don't have to rent?
Being a Realtor, I come in contact with a lot of people who rent the property they live in. The more time I spend talking to these people, the more it becomes apparent that sometimes people continue to rent based out of fear and misconception. People tend to think your financial history has to be spotless and you need $50,000.00 laying around to purchase a property. Reality is that's just not true!
When speaking to any potential client, I start off with a few simple questions to get a better understanding of their current situation and their goals. From there, I strongly recommend sitting down with an experienced lender and have them look at your entire financial scope. A good lender will be able to tell you what you need to do in order to achieve your goal of home ownership. Truth is that it may be 3, 6 or 12 months down the road but it may also be much sooner than you think. You don't know where you are until you talk with someone qualified in the mortgage business! Many times people are MUCH closer to their goals than they think... so don't give up!
If you are currently renting but want to own your own property at any point in the future, I would be honored to meet with you over coffee to hear your story, share my personal story and get you on a path to achieve your goals!
